Custom Design Policies
Midwest Design Market specializes in custom design work created specifically for each client and event. Because of the personalized nature of these services, the following policies are in place to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Ordering & Payment
All custom projects begin with an inquiry submission through the website.
Once project details are confirmed, an invoice will be provided.
A deposit or full payment may be required to secure your project based on the scope of work.
Work will not begin until payment is received.
Turnaround Time
Turnaround times vary depending on the scope and complexity of each project.
Estimated timelines will be provided during the inquiry process.
Rush requests may be accommodated when possible but are not guaranteed.
Revisions
Each project includes a set number of revisions, which will be outlined at the start of the project.
Additional revisions beyond what is included may be subject to additional fees.
Clear communication upfront helps minimize excessive revisions and keeps your project on track.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information, names, dates, and details
- Reviewing proofs carefully before approval
- Responding in a timely manner to avoid delays
Midwest Design Market is not responsible for errors that were approved in final proofs.
Printing & Production
If printing services are included or recommended, final files will be prepared accordingly.
Color variations may occur between screens and printed materials. This is normal and outside of our control.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of all design work, refunds are not offered once work has begun.
If a project is canceled before work begins, a refund may be issued minus any administrative or design time already completed.
Cancellations
If a client chooses to cancel after a project has started, any work completed up to that point will be billed accordingly.
Communication
All project communication will take place via email or agreed-upon channels to ensure clarity and documentation.
Delays in communication may impact project timelines.
Rights & Usage
Midwest Design Market reserves the right to use completed designs for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
